Enjoy browsing over the list and I hope you see some sires and/or dams that you would like to add to your breeding program.

 Fees are free to IPABRA members. Fees are 10 cents per parent to all others or will exchange breedings. All pedigrees have at least 4 generations. I will try to note those horses that have more than 4 generations. For snail mail requests, please e-mail me for my address. Please send a SASE with 1 first class stamp for every 4 breedings requested. E-mailed certificates (pedigree on one sheet and certificae on another) are sent free of charge, but I will not send them until I receive the breeding fees.

 A foaling record is is available on the Sire's/Dam's web page. Names highlighted in green have an info sheet available. This provides a photo, show records and make/mold info. Eventually all horses will have this sheet available.

 Sweet Water Ranch was established in 1985, then named Sun Valley Stables. Our foundation stallions are Mijacogeo, Shorty Blackwell and Supplicio. Since then we’ve branched out with a large variety of breeds.

 Please consider color genetics when choosing parents for your foals. To be safe, please have one parent the same color as the foal.

Cross breeding is welcome. An appaloosa colored Morgan cannot be a Purebred Morgan. Inbreeding will be allowed under certain and limited conditions.

When requesting sires/dams, please send the following info:
foal’s name,
age,
breed,
sex,
color,
make/mold/#,
OF/CM,
and requested sire/dam.
I’ll need the same info of a parent if it is not from SWR, plus as much of the pedigree as possible.

BSO/DO foals are accepted. I would prefer that a body be assigned eventually. Showing/racing updates on the foals are appreciated but not mandatory.

 Foals must be at least 4 years younger than it's sire. All mares have the years that are open listed. Any year missing or (marked off  on the snail mail version) is now unavailable. Mares can have only one foal per year. No exceptions! Foals may be aging or non-aging…or stop aging at a certain year.
 
 

 Abbreviations –
[xxx]=horse's owner/stable
BSO/DO = Breeding Stock only or Details only. These horses do not have "bodies"; they're used as breeding stock. Most will eventually have a body assigned to the ID.

Final note- PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE HORSES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!

*Other Light Breeds includes breeds I know little about
*Partbred includes mixed breeds and grade horses (there is a Live Show Res. Champ in the mutt catagory! Don't ignore these beauties!!)
